The pop princess will be celebrating her 27th birthday in New York City on Tuesday, bringing in the big day with a performance inside Lincoln Center’s Big Apple Circus tent for Good Morning America.

brit also celebrated by goin over to club G-A-Y on sunday. were she cut the cake with the picture of her next album circus on top she also had 27 candles on top which she blew out while all the people around her sand happy birthday!!

In February, one of Rolling Stone's cover stories was "The Tragedy of Britney Spears." Ten months later, Britney is the magazine's cover girl, with a banner headline shouting: "Yes she can! Britney returns."

In the interview, Britney talks about how her life now is so different from the days when her public meltdown was chronicled on the cover of every tabloid on the planet. She laughs about feeling like "an old person" now:

"I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don't go out or anything."

Yeah, but she has a #1 hit single again. And she's on the cover of magazines all over the world again — in a good way. Her comeback is bigger than her meltdown. She's got the Grammys to prove it.

And this year she's not celebrating her birthday (December 2) in a bar. She's celebrating a brand new album and a TV appearance on "Good Morning America."

britney spears flies to GERMANY!!!!

Britney Spears will fly to Germany on Monday for a mini-tour before her new album Circus is officially released. The 26-year-old pop princess’s backup dancers are expected to fly with her for the little promo tour. Britney’s upcoming MTV documentary, Britney: For the Record, premieres next Sunday, Nov. 30
